Grab your friends and meet me at Patagonia Charlotte for a free hour-long yoga session. All experience levels are welcome for this unheated vinyasa flow. Expect to build internal heat, be guided by your breath, and move with focus.

Prana

The Coterie Wellness Studio
Prana is The Coterie’s version of a Vinyasa Yoga Practice. Vinyasa is loosely translated in Sanskrit as “to place in a special way.” During class, you will move in tandem with your breath as a trusted guide to your practice. Expect to walk away learning more about your practice, your mind and your breath. Wear things that are comfortable to move and sweat in, as this practice is heated by infrared heating panels to 85 degrees Fahrenheit.
Props like blocks and straps are encouraged to make all postures conform to you, rather than you conforming to fit the postures. Please bring a yoga mat, a sweat towel and water.
Peaceful Prana

The Coterie Wellness Studio
Peaceful Prana is slow and focused version of our Prana vinyasa. Enjoy a practice that begins with guided meditation, builds to slower but challenging standing movements and grounds you back to the floor for extended restoration. This class will allow you to build a deep awareness of your breath and your mind, moving through postures slower than a typical vinyasa class.
Expect movement that is gentle, slow and supported with props like bolsters, blocks and blankets. This class is warmed to 78 degrees to keep things comfortable but no overheating.
Prana Foundations
Saturdays at 9:45am
The Coterie Wellness Studio
This version of Prana is perfect if you have never taken yoga before, if you are returning to your practice after a break, or if you want to dive back into the fundamentals of the physical practice. All of our classes are free of judgement. We are simply excited to introduce you to something we love so much.
Please wear clothing that is easy to move in and that you are comfortable sweating in. Bring a water bottle and a sweat towel. All other props will be provided, and we have yoga mats for rent if you do not own one. If this is your first class, your rental mat will be free.

Treat yourself to a private practice in your own home or at The Coterie. We will tailor our time together to meet your individual needs — both physically and mentally. Pranayama, meditation, and asana are all available, plus hands-on assists where appropriate. I look forward to creating something that brings you ease and strength.
